April Prayer Update

PRAYER UPDATE APRIL 2008

The word for this month is flexibility! So many things change here in a blink of an eye, from schedules to adjusting to new people and situations. It was like a revolving door here at the mission house this month. People were coming and going and so many things happening that you couldn’t keep up with everything. It has now somewhat settled down because the German team and Sarah went back home and there is only 6 people living in the mission house for now.

I am getting to know the teacher’s better as I do home visits and I enjoy getting to know them more and more. At my last teacher training everybody showed up except for one school. I also had three other schools show up that didn’t belong to African Leadership. My teacher training sessions are sure getting bigger and bigger. We also built another school this month, which means we now have 14 schools and two more to be built in the summer.

Praise items:

· The new car is working well.

· Most of the schools showed up for teachers training and 3 other schools showed up that didn’t belong to African Leadership.

· Thank you for all the people who gave donations towards paying part of my new car loan off.

Prayer items:

· That I may learn the Xhosa language.

· That I may build a better relationship with the teachers as I visit them at their homes.

· That I may learn all the teachers Xhosa names.

· That I may get to know my new roommate, Joy from Korea.

· That I may find a place to fellowship with other believers in a local church.

· That my old car will finally be sold by the end of this month.

· That my prayer life will be rich and more deeper.

· That I may know how to be wise in dealing with the schools that don’t show up for teacher’s training.

· That I may balance my time with each of the schools.

· That we may find more coordinators to help me with the LOVEa ministry.
