September 2009 (Second Half)

September 2009 (Second Half)

The Seattle Team renovating the Buyambo School.

Seattle Team painting the school inside.

While their school was being renovated the students and teachers had to stay outside. (Good thing the weather was nice that day)

Christy from the Mocha Club joined us for a week and became a part of the family!

Beth (a missionary from Japan for 40 years and is also on the board of African Leadership in Canada) brought 11 ladies from Canada to do a short-term mission trip.

While going to Robben Island with the ladies you can see the sight of the stadium where some of the games will be played during the World Cup here in June 2010. Behind the stadium is Lions Head and Signal Hill.

The ladies doing Chidlrens Church outside because the building is too small.

The area where the ladies did Children's Church.

Marlene doing a lion art project at the Rainbow School.

A child doing a lion puppet.

At the Siyaphumelela school they are learning the letter y.

Anele turned 25 last week!

At Anele's birthday we played games like Spoons. Everytime a person lost they got a letter for the word Donkey and if you finally got all the letters that spelled Donkey you had to give Sino a ride.

Visited Anele's new school. She is very happy with her new job!
