August 2009 (Second half)

AUGUST 2009 (SECOND HALF)

Pastor John joined me at the Everite Reading class. He was Vanna when we played the game called the Wheel of Fortune.

The Calgary and German team joined me in the morning at a school. (The Calgary team painted the the wall behind us.)

The kids were having running races when I went to visit the Green Point school.

The kids made shakers from toilet rolls for their music theme.

The kids pretended to be puppies on the farm.

This month's theme we were learning about the Farm and the City. The kids drew a city apartment with chalk on black paper.

Celebrating Moni's 20th birthday on the beach!

While celebrating Moni's birthday we saw a family of Baboons on the road.

Spring has sprung and these lillies are popping up everywhere especially in Khayelitsha. I think the Lilly of the Valley Association (LOVEa) was named after these lillies.
